Mamuju - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi held a knowledge sharing activity related to updating the Statistical Work Areas (wilkerstat) for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) on Monday (29/10). This activity is the initial step in preparing for the 2026 Economic Census which will be implemented simultaneously throughout Indonesia.
BPS West Sulawesi continues to move quickly in preparing for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE 2026). One of the initial steps taken is updating the Wilkerstat SE 2026. This knowledge sharing activity, which was held online, aims to provide a comprehensive understanding to all officers in the field regarding the importance of updating Wilkerstat.
"This Wilkerstat update is very crucial because it will be the basis for implementing SE 2026," said the Head of BPS West Sulawesi, Tina Wahyufitri.
"We hope that with this activity, all officers can understand their respective duties and responsibilities so that the implementation of SE 2026 can run smoothly and produce accurate data," she added.
In this activity, participants were given an understanding of the Wilkerstat concept, updating procedures, and challenges that may be faced in the field. In addition, interactive discussions were also held to find solutions to various problems that arise.
