July 2024 Inflation Year On Year (y-on-y) of Sulawesi Barat Province was 2.08 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Majene Regency by 2.15 percent

In July 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Sulawesi Barat Province will be 2.08 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.83. The highest inflation occurred in Majene Regency at 2.15 percent with a CPI of 106.36 and the lowest occurred in Mamuju at 1.99 percent with a CPI of 105.02.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 3.46 percent; clothing and footwear group by 0.99 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.14 percent; health group by 1.35 percent; transportation group by 0.75 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.02 percent; education group by 1.15 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 5.66 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.53 percent. Meanwhile, the expenditure groups that experienced a decline in the index were: equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group by 0.04 percent and information, communication and financial services group by 0.20 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) deflation rate for Sulawesi Barat Province is 0.45 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate is 0.59 percent.
