Abstract

Inflation in Mamuju in April 2014 was due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the price index in almost all expenditure groups, namely: the foodstuffs group of 0.06 percent, the processed food group, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.16 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel 0.05 percent; clothing group 0.18 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.06 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group 0.21 percent. Meanwhile, the health group experienced no change in price index or was relatively stable.
