Abstract

Inflation in Mamuju in February 2014 was due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the price index in almost all expenditure groups, namely: the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group 2.30 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.23 percent; clothing group 0.24 percent; health group 0.51 percent; education, recreation and sports group 0.17 percent; and the transportation, communication and financial services group 0.09 percent. Meanwhile, the foodstuffs group experienced a price index decline of 0.99 percent.
