EXPORT OF SULAWESI BARAT PROVINCE GOODS, JANUARY - JUNE 2009; The value of Sulawesi Barat exports in the January-June 2009 period reached 20,013,873 US $. The export value is only for non-oil and gas exports, while for oil and gas there is no export in West Sulawesi. The biggest export value occurred in June which reached 5,471,018 US $ or around 27.34 percent, while the lowest occurred in March of 1,492,500 US $ or 7.46 percent. ; The development of non oil and gas exports during the first semester of 2009 was relatively lower compared to the same period in 2008 which reached 20,189,573 US $. In percentage terms the decline was 0.87 percent. On a monthly basis, the highest increase in non-oil and gas exports occurred in April, which was a change of 76.05 percent compared to the previous month. While the biggest decrease occurred in March, which amounted to -44.90 percent compared to the previous month. ; During January-June 2009, non-oil and gas exports were dominated by CPO (Crude Palm Oil) which included in the Fat / Animal / Vegetable Oil group which reached 19,935,873 US $ or around 99.61 percent. While the remaining 0.39 percent occurs in the Oily Grains group, which is 78,000 US $. ; The non-oil and gas export destination countries for the January-June 2009 period were dominated by Vietnam, which was around 51.73 percent. This was followed by China 27.17 percent, then Singapore 15.09 percent, and Malaysia the lowest 6.02 percent. ; The contribution of West Sulawesi's exports during January-June 2009 to the national exports which reached 40.42 billion US $ was still very small at only 0.05 percent. The value of West Sulawesi exports based on the Free On Board (FOB) price in the January-June 2009 period reached 20,013,878 US $. The value of these exports is exports that occur in the non oil and gas sector, while for oil and gas exports, there is no export in West Sulawesi. When compared in the same period in 2008, the development of West Sulawesi's export value experienced a slight decline, from 20,189,573 US $ in the first semester of 2008 to 20,013,878 US $ in the first semester of 2009. The percentage decreased 0 , 87 percent.
