BPS Sulbar Inaugurates New Functional Officials, Emphasizes the Importance of Superior HR

Mamuju, September 5, 2024 - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province carried out the inauguration and oath-taking of functional officials on September 5, 2024. This inauguration aims to improve institutional capacity and employee career development. The Head of BPS Sulbar, Tina Wahyufitri, emphasized the importance of producing superior BPS human resources and contributing to public services.

In her remarks, the Head of BPS Sulbar congratulated the newly inaugurated and sworn-in officials. She also emphasized the importance of commitment and responsibility in carrying out duties as state civil servants.

"This oath is a commitment not only to you personally, but the oath is also witnessed by God Almighty. So be serious in carrying out your work," said Tina.

Furthermore, Tina also gave special directions to the newly inaugurated functional officials. To Eva Resvani, who was inaugurated as the first expert apparatus HR analyst, Tina hopes that she can improve the quality of BPS HR through various development programs.

"If we look closely at the HR Management pillar in the development of the integrity zone, we still need improvements in terms of internal mutation patterns, competency-based employee development and individual performance determination," said Tina.

Meanwhile, to Abdul Syukur who was inaugurated as an expert middle archivist, Tina asked him to encourage work units to achieve better performance.

"Study and translate the competency standards of expert middle functional officials through assignments in realizing the Government Internal Control System," she added.
