BPS Sulbar Ready to Achieve ISO 9001:2015 Certification After Stage 2 Audit

Mamuju, August 6, 2024 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province has completed the ISO 9001:2015 Stage 2 Audit with satisfactory results. External auditor, Rakhma Indah Kurniasih, recommended BPS Sulbar to obtain certification after making several minor improvements.

"The commitment of the leadership and support from team members is appreciated in the implementation of ISO 9001:2015," said Rakhma.

She also highlighted several opportunities for improvement, including quality targets and control of documented information.

Head of BPS Sulbar, Tina Wahyufitri, in her closing statement said, "We are committed to immediately following up on all audit findings and continuing to improve our quality management system. ISO 9001:2015 certification will be real proof of our commitment to providing high-quality statistical services to the people of West Sulawesi."
