BPS West Sulawesi Holds Level Up: Internalization of Excellent Service Culture

Mamuju, 25 March 2024 - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) held the activity "Level Up: Internalizing a Culture of Excellent Service" in Mamuju on Monday, 25 March 2024. This activity aims to improve the quality of public services through increasing competency of all BPS employees.


The Head of BPS West Sulawesi, represented by Intermediate Computer Expert Muhammad Said, in his speech said that the internalization of this culture of excellent service is one of the mandatory activities in working units towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM).


"This internalization is also a form of guidance from Provincial BPS to all Regency BPS. This activity will be carried out regularly to maintain the quality of public services by increasing the competency of all BPS employees," said Said.


Said emphasized that the role of all BPS employees is very important as ASN who deal directly with the public. The attitudes and behavior of employees in serving will reflect the image of BPS.


"Continue to maintain an attitude of morals in every service provided. Consumer satisfaction is very important to maintain. Build good communication and closeness with them. Their perception will be one of the determinants of the results of implementing the Bureaucratic Reform that we have carried out," added Said.


This activity was attended by all Provincial BPS and Regency BPS employees throughout West Sulawesi. The material presented in this activity includes Implementing a Culture of Excellent Service, Building a Professional Image with Grooming, and Communication Strategies for Effective Public Services Through Online Media


Said said that excellent service is not only about providing fast and accurate service, but also about building good relationships with the community.


"Excellent service is about creating a positive experience for the community when they interact with BPS," said Said.


The activity "Level Up: Internalizing a Culture of Excellent Service" is expected to improve the quality of BPS West Sulawesi's public services and provide satisfaction to the community.
