Mamuju, March 1 2024 - West Sulawesi Province's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) received a visit from the Head of the National Unity and Politics Division (Kesbangpol) of West Sulawesi Province, Nurmilu, and his team on Friday (1/3). This visit aims to coordinate preparations for the 2024 Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) FGD activities. During the meeting, Nurmilu said that this year's IDI FGD implementation had undergone format adjustments due to budget limitations.
"Even though there are budget limitations, we remain committed to carrying out IDI FGDs this year because of the importance of producing quality IDI data," explained Nurmilu.
Muhammad Said, Intermediate Computer Expert at BPS West Sulawesi, welcomed Kesbangpol's commitment and emphasized the importance of the IDI FGD in producing accurate IDI data.
"IDI data is very important, especially in a political year like this. IDI FGD helps BPS in triangulating data and improving the quality of IDI data," said Said.
As a result of this meeting, it was agreed that the 2024 IDI FGD would be held in March. Technical discussions regarding the location and budget of the IDI FGD will be discussed further at the next meeting.
