West Sulawesi BPS Leader Meeting: 2023 Performance Evaluation & 2024 Performance Strategy

Mamuju - West Sulawesi Province's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) held a Leadership Meeting aimed at evaluating performance in 2023 and formulating strategies for achieving performance in 2024 (30/01). This activity, which took place at the West Sulawesi Province BPS office, was led directly by the Head of West Sulawesi Province BPS.

The performance achievements of BPS West Sulawesi Province in 2023 were presented at this meeting. In general, West Sulawesi Province BPS succeeded in exceeding the targets set at the beginning of 2023. These achievements include various performance indicators that reflect success in managing statistical data at the provincial level.

In her remarks, Head of BPS West Sulawesi Province, Tina Wahyufitri expressed her appreciation for the dedication and hard work of all BPS employees who have contributed to achieving satisfactory results. "The achievements achieved in 2023 provide a positive picture regarding our commitment to improving the quality of statistical data management in West Sulawesi," she said.

Even though the performance achievements in 2023 are very good, this meeting also highlighted several challenges faced by BPS West Sulawesi Province in 2024. One of the main challenges that is being focused on is how BPS can guide the Regional Government in West Sulawesi to achieve a Statistical Development Index score in the minimum category. Good.

Tina emphasized the important role of BPS in supporting regional development. "We need to synergize with the Regional Government to ensure that the statistical data produced can be a strong basis for sustainable and competitive development planning," she added.

This meeting was also attended by a number of related officials, including the Head of the General Section of BPS West Sulawesi Province, the Head of BPS Districts throughout West Sulawesi, as well as the Intermediate Expert Functional Officer of BPS West Sulawesi Province. The meeting participants discussed in depth strategies for achieving performance in 2024, including concrete steps that would be taken to overcome the identified challenges.
