Abstract
Based on the results of a 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in April 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Kotabaru by 6.75 percent with the CPI of 121.12 and the lowest occurred in Pangkal Pinang by 2.78 percent with the CPI of 114.15. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 2.96 percent with CPI of 114.64 ranks second lowest of 90 CPI.
Yoy's inflation in Mamuju City occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in the majority of expenditure groups, namely clothing and footwear groups by 3.98 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 1.99 percent; household equipment, equipment, and household maintenance groups by 6.69 percent; health group by 4.56 percent; The transportation group is 15.26 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups by 3.22 percent; education group by 0.62 percent; Food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 3.79 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services by 7.18 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the food, beverage and tobacco groups by 0.59 percent and the financial, communication and financial services group by 1.45 percent.
Month to Month Deflation rate April 2023 is 0.18 percent and the inflation rate of Year to Date (YTD) or the April 2023 calendar year of 0.66 percent.
