February 2023 Mamuju experienced inflation year on year (yoy) by 4.54 percent

Based on the results of the 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in February 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Kotabaru by 7.88 percent with the CPI of 120.04 and the lowest occurred in Waingapu by 3.57 percent with CPI of 112 , 74. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 4.54 percent with CPI of 114.79.

Yoy inflation in the city of Mamuju occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in the majority of expenditure groups, namely food, beverage and tobacco groups by 2.08 percent; clothing and footwear groups of 2.63 percent; residential groups, water, electricity, and household fuel by 2.29 percent; household equipment, equipment, and household maintenance groups by 10.11 percent; health group by 1.60 percent; Transportation group of 20.13 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups of 2.83 percent; education group by 0.62 percent; Food and beverage/restaurant supply groups by 4.05 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services by 6.80 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the information, communication and financial services group by 1.53 percent.

Month to Month (MTM) inflation rate February 2023 is 0.16 percent and year to date inflation rate (YTD) or the February 2023 calendar year of 0.79 percent.
