Abstract

Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey of 66 cities in Indonesia in December 2009, there were 48 cities experiencing inflation and 18 other cities experiencing deflation. Mamuju experienced inflation of 0.84 percent with CPI 121.37 and ranks 10th out of cities experiencing inflation. The highest inflation in Ambon was 3.49 percent with CPI 117.87 and the lowest in Palembang 0.03 percent with CPI 118.07. Meanwhile, the highest deflation occurred in Maumere 0.83 percent with CPI 126.01 and the lowest in Pekanbaru and Cilegon 0.10 percent with CPI respectively 115.04 and 118.64
