Abstract
EXPORT AND LOAD LOADING IN SEA PORT OF SULAWESI BARATPROVINCE, JANUARY-OCTOBER 2007 ¾ Goods loading and unloading activities from January to October 2007, with a large volume of loading and unloading at the Majene Regency sea port is 873 M3 mixed wood. Barang Goods export activities from West Sulawesi are generally dominated by CPO (Crude palm Oil) or palm oil, with fluctuating volumes, ie from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2007 the CPO loading volume increased from 2,750 tons with the destination of Vietnam and China at 16. 985 tons or an increase of 517.64 percent, with the aim of 12,100 tons each to Vietnam and 4,885 to China. Furthermore, from the second quarter to the third quarter of 2007, the CPO loading volume was reduced by 16,985 tons to 5,600 tons or decreased by 67.03 percent, with the goal of Vietnam. In the third quarter of 2007, there was also a cargo of goods in the form of wooden boats, with a volume of 963 tons, valued at US $ 250,000 with the destination of the Philippines. ¾ Furthermore, if observed in terms of price or average value per ton, especially CPO, it is seen that the price of CPO from West Sulawesi is increasing from each observation period, namely from the first quarter to the second quarter of 2007 with the aim of China, the price level has increased from 467.73 US $ to 570.55 US $ or an increase of 21.98 percent.
