BPS Sulbar Wins Best Strategic Partner Award from BI Sulbar

Mamuju, August 23, 2024 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province received an award as the Best Strategic Partner in Supporting the Provision of Supporting Data for Assessments from the Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI) of West Sulawesi Province. This award was presented at the Respondent Meeting event held at the Grand Maleo & Convention Hotel Mamuju, Friday (23/08).

The Head of BPS Sulbar Province, Tina Wahyufitri, was present in person to receive the award. On this occasion, she expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the award given.

"We are very honored to receive this award. This is real proof of the commitment and hard work of the entire BPS Sulbar team in providing quality and relevant statistical data to support policy making in West Sulawesi," said Tina.

The Head of KPw BI Sulbar, Gunawan Purbowo, emphasized the importance of collaboration between BI and various parties, including BPS, in obtaining accurate and up-to-date data to support economic policy making.

"Secondary data is already available from various sources, including BPS. However, direct confirmation from the field is still needed to get a more comprehensive picture," said Gunawan.

BPS of West Sulawesi Province is committed to continuing to provide high-quality statistical data and collaborating with various parties to contribute to the economic development of West Sulawesi.
