The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province recorded an increase in the number of airplane passengers departing and arriving in June 2024, while the number of ship passengers decreased.
"The number of airplane passengers departing increased by 5.35 percent, while those arriving increased by 11.10 percent compared to May 2024," said the Head of BPS of West Sulawesi Province, Tina Wahyufitri.
However, the number of ship passengers departing experienced a significant decrease of 38.43 percent, although the number of passengers arriving increased by 11.58 percent.
