Mamuju, 23 April 2024 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) held a Socialization on the Implementation of ISO 9001:2015 in order to improve the quality of integrated statistical services to the community. The event, which was held in the West Sulawesi BPS Hall, was attended by all West Sulawesi BPS employees.
The Head of BPS West Sulawesi, Tina Wahyufitri, in her speech said that BPS West Sulawesi had the opportunity to obtain international standard certification for its Integrated Statistical Services. This is an appreciation from Central BPS because BPS West Sulawesi managed to enter the top 6 in the Monitoring and Evaluation of Public Service Delivery Performance (PEKPPP) within the scope of BPS in 2023.
"We must make good use of this opportunity because not all Provincial BPS have this opportunity," said Tina.
Furthermore, Tina explained that every BPS West Sulawesi employee must understand the vision, mission, services, quality guidelines and ISO certification process. Employees must also support the smooth process of ISO service and certification.
"All of us as ASN BPS West Sulawesi are public servants. Your attitude in serving will reflect the image of BPS. Always maintain an attitude of morals in every service provided. Consumer satisfaction is very important to maintain. "The quality of services must be achieved according to the targets set in the quality guidelines," emphasized Tina.
It is hoped that this socialization can increase the understanding of all BPS West Sulawesi employees regarding the established Quality Management. In this way, BPS West Sulawesi can provide integrated statistical services of quality and international standards to the community.
