BPS Sulbar Strengthens Integration Zones Through WBS Socialization, Public Complaints, & SPATULA

March 7, 2024 | Other Activities

Mamuju, 7 March 2024 - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) held a socialization activity on the Whistleblowing System (WBS), Public Complaints and Integrated Service System (SPATULA) on Monday (7/3) in Mamuju. This activity aims to strengthen the Integrity Zone within BPS West Sulawesi.

Head of BPS West Sulawesi Province, Tina Wahyufitri, opened the socialization event and emphasized the importance of building a work culture with integrity. "WBS, Public Complaints and SPATULA are important instruments in realizing the Integrity Zone at BPS West Sulawesi," said Tina.

Head of General Division of BPS West Sulawesi, Markus Uda, explained material about WBS. WBS is a violation reporting system that allows BPS employees to report actions that are not in accordance with integrity values. "WBS can be used to report acts of corruption, abuse of authority and other violations," explained Markus.

The socialization continued with the presentation of material about SPATULA by Misnawati Mansur, head of the SPATULA system development team. SPATULA is an integrated service system that makes it easy for BPS data users to provide feedback and complaints online.

"SPATULA is expected to improve the quality of BPS services to the community," said Misnawati.

This socialization activity was attended by all BPS employees throughout West Sulawesi. It is hoped that with this socialization, BPS West Sulawesi employees can understand and use WBS, Public Complaints, and SPATULA well so that the Integrity Zone at BPS West Sulawesi can be realized.
