Mamuju, 1 March 2024 – The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) noted that the export value of West Sulawesi in January 2024 experienced a significant decrease of 57.60% compared to December 2023.
"This decrease was caused by the decline in exports of processing industry products and the absence of exports of mining products in January 2024," said Head of BPS West Sulawesi, Tina Wahyufitri, in a news release received in Mamuju, Wednesday (1/3).
Tina explained that the export value of West Sulawesi in January 2024 reached US$ 26.26 million, while in December 2023 it was valued at US$ 61.93 million.
