Abstract
Human development in Sulawesi Barat continues to experience progress marked by the continued increase in the Human Development Index (HDI) of Sulawesi Barat. In 2022, Sulawesi Barat HDI recorded 66.92. This figure increased by 0.56 points or grew by 0.84 percent compared to the situation in 2021.
All components forming Sulawesi Barat HDI in 2022 were recorded to increase.
Life Expectancy (UHH), which is a newborn baby in 2022 has recorded a chance to live up to 65.63 years, longer 0.38 years than the previous year.
Old School Harapan (HLS), namely children who in 2022 were 7 years old had the opportunity to go to school for 12.87 years, longer 0.01 years than conditions in 2021.
Likewise, the average length of school (RLS), which is a population aged 25 years and over in 2022, on average has been educated for 8.08 years, longer 0.12 years than the previous year.
In 2022, the people of Sulawesi Barat were recorded to meet the needs of life with an average per capita expenditure adjusted (constant 2012 price) of 9.36 million rupiah per year, an increase of 205 thousand rupiah compared to the previous year.
