Abstract

• In September 2020, Mamuju deflation of 0.34 percent. Deflation is due to the decrease in the price indicated by the decline in some types of expenses, the group index of food, beverages and tobacco by 0.98 percent; health 0.62 percent; transportation 0.09 percent; and group information, communication, and service Financial 0.05 percent.

• The degree of change in the index in September 2020 calendar year in Mamuju is recorded inflation of 1.73 percent and the rate of change in the index year-on-year (September 2020 to September 2019) showed inflation of 2.77 percent.

• Based on the Consumer Price Survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in September 2020, showed that 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced deflation. Highest inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli by 1.00 percent and the lowest in Pekanbaru and Pontianak with inflation of 0.01 percent, respectively. While the highest deflation occurred in Timika amounted to 0.83 percent and the lowest in Jember, Bukittinggi, and Singkawang with each deflation of 0.01 percent.
