Farmer Terms of Trade August 2018 in Sulawesi Barat Province

Sulawesi Barat Farmers Terms of Trade on August 2018 was 111,56; decrease 0,18 percent than on July 2018 Period. Furthermore, FToT by subsector was registered for crops subsector (NTP-P) 99,15; horticulture subsector (NTP-H) 114,16; plantation subsector (NTP-R) 121,38; animal husbandry subsector (NTP-T) 107,33; and fisheries subsector (NTN) 108,55.

The result of consument price monitoring in rural area that shows the rural deflation in Sulawesi Barat on August 2018 was 0,16 percent, that generally triggered by decreased index of expenditure group such as Food, Education, Recreation, and Sport.

Inflation in rural area that happen at 5 province in Indonesian, the highest in Nangroe Aceh Darussalam 0,30 percent and the lowest in Kepulauan Riau 0,12 percent. While, 27 other province was rural deflation, the highest is Gorontalo 1,30 and the lowest is Maluku 0,01 percent. 1 Province relatively stable that is Sumatera Utara. Sulawesi Barat at ranks 17th from 27 province that happen rural inflation.

For national scale, Farmers Terms of Trade on August 2018 is 102,56; increase 0,89 percent than July 2018, and rural deflation amount of 0,32 percent.
