Abstract

Based on the results of the Consumer Price Survey of 66 cities in Indonesia in April 2011, there were 57 cities experiencing deflation and 9 other cities experiencing inflation. The highest deflation occurred in Jambi 1.57 percent with CPI 126.85 and the lowest in Bandung 0.02 percent with CPI 120.85, while the highest inflation occurred in Ternate 0.52 percent with CPI 128.07 and the lowest in Palangka Raya 0, 05 percent with CPI 129.13. Meanwhile, with deflation of 0.11 percent and CPI 129.49 Mamuju ranked 49th among cities experiencing deflation.
