Abstract

HOTEL LEVEL OF HOTEL ROOMS IN Sulawesi Barat, APRIL - JUNE 2010  The Average Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Other Accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period April - June 2010 was around 24.32 percent. That is, the average number of rooms used from all available rooms is 24.32 percent. During this period, the highest TPK occurred in April by 27.15 percent, while the lowest occurred in June by 22.07 percent.  The average length of stay of foreign guests at other accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period April - June 2010 was 1.69 days. This means that on average one foreign guest stays for around 1.69 days. During this period, the highest average length of stay of foreign guests occurred in April at 2.00 days, while in June there were no foreign guests staying.  The average length of stay of archipelago guests at other accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period April - June 2010 was 1.64 days. This means that on average, one Indonesian guest stays for around 1.64 days. During this period, the highest average length of stay of archipelago guests occurred in May of 1.70 days, while the lowest occurred in April of 1.56 days.  The average Guest Per Room (GPR) in Other Accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period April - June 2010 was 1.88 people. This means that on average, one room sold is inhabited by around 1.88 people. During that period, the highest average guest per room occurred in June of 1.99 people, while the lowest occurred in April of 1.76 people The development of the level of use of accommodation facilities in West Sulawesi for the period April - June 2010 can be seen from several indicators, such as hotel occupancy rates, average length of stay, and average guests per room. Room Occupancy Rate is a comparison between the number of nights a room is occupied (room night occupied) and the number of room nights available (room night available). The TPK indicates what percentage of rooms are used compared to the available rooms.
