Abstract

HOTEL LEVEL OF HOTEL ROOMS IN SULAWESI BARAT JULY - SEPTEMBER 2010 Kamar The Average Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of Other Accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period July - September 2010 was around 20.45 percent. That is, the average number of rooms used out of all available rooms is 20.45 percent. During this period, the highest TPK occurred in July amounted to 26.23 percent, while the lowest occurred in September amounted to 15.79 percent.  The average length of stay of foreign guests at other accommodations in Sulawesi Barat in the July-September 2010 period was 2.10 days. This means that on average one foreign guest stays for around 2.10 days. During this period, the highest average length of stay of foreign guests occurred in July of 2.33 days, while the lowest occurred in September which was only 1.00 days.  The average length of stay of archipelago guests at other accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period July - September 2010 was 1.61 days. This means that on average, one Indonesian guest stays for around 1.61 days. During this period, the highest average length of stay of archipelago guests occurred in August of 1.71 days, while the lowest occurred in September of 1.40 days.  Average Guests per Room or Guest Per Room (GPR) in Other Accommodations in Sulawesi Barat for the period July - September 2010 amounted to 1.90 people. This means that on average, one room sold is inhabited by around 1.90 people. During this period, the highest average guest per room occurred in September of 1.92 people, while the lowest occurred in July of 1.87 people The development of the level of use of accommodation facilities in Sulawesi Barat for the period July - September 2010 can be seen from several indicators, such as hotel occupancy rates, average length of stay, and average guests per room. Room Occupancy Rate is a comparison between the number of nights a room is occupied (room night occupied) and the number of room nights available (room night available). The TPK indicates what percentage of rooms are used compared to the available rooms.
