ASA Course Pojok Statistik Unsulbar Successfully Held, Increasing the Capacity of Statistical Agents

West Sulawesi, 3 May 2024 – ASA Course 2024 Statistics Corner, University of West Sulawesi (Unsulbar) officially opened on Friday (3/5) online via zoom meeting. This activity was attended by the Head of BPS West Sulawesi Province, Deputy Chancellor II Unsulbar, Head of BPS Majene Regency, and related parties.

ASA Course 2024, which stands for Statistical Additional Agents Course, is a training program organized by the Unsulbar Statistics Corner Team to improve the abilities of statistical agents in the fields of hard skills and soft skills. With the theme "Unleash The Power Of Data: Making Differences Matter", this program is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of statistical knowledge in West Sulawesi.

"This program is expected to increase the understanding of all Unsulbar statistical agents about how much the power of data can bring about change," said Head of BPS West Sulawesi Province, Tina Wahyufitri, S.Si., M.Sc., in her speech.

Deputy Chancellor II of West Sulawesi, Prof. Oslan Jumadi, S.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., also expressed his appreciation for holding this activity and expressed his commitment to continue to support Unsulbar Statistics Corner programs.

"Collaboration between academics, practitioners and government is very important in facing increasingly complex data challenges in this digital era," emphasized Prof. Oslan.

It is hoped that the opening of the ASA Course 2024 will be an important momentum in strengthening cooperation between BPS West Sulawesi Province, BPS Majene Regency, and Unsulbar in developing competent and skilled human resources in facing the challenges of ever-changing times.
