Area of ​​Rice Harvest and Production in Sulawesi Barat Province 2019 (Results of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics Data Collection with Sampling Frame Area Method)

Data Collection of Integrated Food Crops Agricultural Statistics with the Area Sampling Frame Method (KSA) is an activity carried out in collaboration between the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT). This activity is included in a national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security, in the context of improving food statistical data which began to be implemented nationally in 2018.The main objective of this activity is to obtain an objective method of collecting data on the area of ​​rice harvest scientific, and involves the role of technology, up-to-date, so that agricultural data, especially rice production data, that is collected becomes more accurate, fast, and timely.
The 2019 Rice Harvest and Production Area Report explains all information regarding the results of the implementation of KSA data collection during 2019. This report is expected to provide an overview of the potential for rice cultivation obtained from field observations.
