Abstract
Based on the results of the 90 city consumer price survey in Indonesia in July 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation occurred in Merauke of 5.21 percent with CPI of 116.10 and the lowest occurred in Gunungsitoli by 0.50 percent with CPI of 116 , 28. Yoy inflation in Mamuju was 1.34 percent with CPI of 115.40 ranks five of the lowest of 90 CPI.
Yoy's inflation in Mamuju City occurred because of the price increase shown by the increase in the majority of expenditure groups, namely clothing and footwear groups by 2.98 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 1.34 percent; Groups of Routine Household Equipment, Equipment, and Maintenance by 6.43 percent; health group by 3.57 percent; Transportation group of 10.35 percent; Recreation, sports and culture groups of 5.29 percent; education group by 0.37 percent; food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 2.05 percent; and private maintenance groups and other services by 7.09 percent. While the expenditure group that experienced a decline in index was the food, beverage and tobacco groups by 2.61 percent and the financial, communication and financial services group of 1.63 percent.
The level of Month to Month Deflation (MTM) July 2023 is 0.04 percent and the inflation rate of Year to Date (YTD) or the July 2023 calendar year of 1.33 percent.
