During May 2022 the export value of Sulawesi Barat Province reached US $ 2.09 million, and the import value of Sulawesi Barat Province reached US $ 0.96 million

The export value of Sulawesi Barat Province in May 2022 reached US $ 2.09 million, down 95.70 percent compared to April 2022. The same condition compared to May 2021 where there was a decrease of 96.57 percent.

Vegetable materials for woven-Annaum are the main export commodities of Sulawesi Barat Province during May 2022 with a contribution of 47.83 percent of the total exports of Sulawesi Barat Province.

Japan, Malaysia and China became the largest destination country of Sulawesi Barat Province exports during May 2022.

Cumulatively, the export value of Sulawesi Barat Province dropped by 47.57 percent, from US $ 269.37 million in the month (January-May 2021) to US $ 141.22 million in the month period (January-May 2022).

During May 2022, the import value of Sulawesi Barat Province was recorded at US $ 0.96 million.

During the January-May period of 2022, the value of imports of Sulawesi Barat Province was recorded at US $ 1.59 million or an increase of 305.55 percent when compared to the same period in the previous year was recorded at US $ 0.39 million.
