Abstract
In September 2021, the level of inequality in residents of Sulawesi Barat Province which was measured by Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.366. This figure increased by 0.010 points compared to Gini Ratio March 2021. Meanwhile when compared to Gini Ratio September 2020 which amounted to 0.356, this September 2021 ratio increased by 0.010 points.
The gini ratio in urban areas in September 2021 was recorded at 0.451, an increase of 0.005 points compared to Gini Ratio March 2021 which amounted to 0.446 and increased by 0.014 points compared to Gini Ratio September 2020 which amounted to 0.437. While the gini ratio in rural areas in September 2021 was recorded at 0.326 increased by 0.005 points compared to Gini Ratio March 2021 and Gini Ratio September 2020.
On September 2021, the distribution of 40 percent of the lowest population of population was 18.97 percent. This means that residents are still in the category of low inequality levels. If specified according to the region, in urban areas the figure is recorded at 15.28 percent which means it is in the category of medium inequality. While for rural areas, the numbers were recorded at 20.46 percent, which meant being included in the category of low inequality.
