A. PADI (Lowland Rice + Field Rice)
The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's rice production in 2014 was 449,621 tons of Dry Grain (GKG), an increase of 4,591 tons (1.03 percent) compared to rice production in 2013, which amounted to 445,030 tons. The increase in rice production in 2014 was due to an increase in harvested area of 3,156 hectares (3.46 percent), and in terms of productivity decreased by about 1.15 kw / ha (2.35 percent).
Furthermore, the Forecast Number (ARAM I) of West Sulawesi Province's 2015 rice production is estimated to reach 497,232 tons of MPD, an increase of 47,611 tons (10.59 percent) compared to 2014 production. The increase in production in 2015 was triggered by an increase in harvested area which is expected to increase from 94,351 hectares in 2014 to 101,581 hectares in 2015, or an increase of around 7,230 hectares (7.66 percent), and in terms of productivity also experienced an estimated increase of around 1.30 kw / ha (2.72 percent), from 47, 65 kw / ha in 2014 to 48.95 kw / ha in 2015 (ARAM I 2015)
B. CORN
The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's corn production in 2014 was 110,665 tons of dry seed, down by 17,662 tons (13.76 percent) compared to 2013's production of 128,327 tons. Decline in corn production was triggered by a decrease in harvested area of 2,440 ha (9.11 percent) from 26,781 ha in 2013 to 24,341 ha in 2014. While in terms of productivity it also decreased by 2.46 quintals / hectare (5.12 percent) , from 47.92 quintals / hectare in 2013 to 45.46 quintals / hectare in 2014.
Provisional Figures (ARAM I) of West Sulawesi Province corn production in 2015 amounted to 115,375 tons of dry shelled or increased by 4,710 tons (4.26 percent) compared to 2014 production. The increase in corn production was triggered by an increase in harvested area of 865 hectares (3, 55 percent) and increased productivity around 1.28 quintals / hectare (10.88 percent).
C. SOYBEAN
The ROOF of soybean production in West Sulawesi Province in 2014 was 3,998 tons of dry beans, an increase of 2,817 tons (238.53 percent) compared to 2013 production. The increase in production occurred due to an increase in harvested area of 2,468 hectares (262 percent) while productivity decreased by 0 , 81 quintals / hectare (6.48 percent).
Provisional Figures (ARAM I) soybean production in West Sulawesi Province in 2015 is estimated at 4,341 tons of dry beans or an increase of about 343 tons (8.58 percent) compared to 2014 production. The increase in soybean production in 2015 is expected to occur due to an increase in productivity of around 1, 28 quintals / hectare (10.92 percent) while the harvested area has decreased by 72 ha (2.11 percent)
