Abstract

The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's 2013 rice production was 445,030 tons of Dry Grain (GKG), an increase of 32,692 tons (7.93 percent) compared to rice production in 2012, which was 412,338 tons. The increase in rice production in 2013 was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​7,399 hectares (8.83 percent), and in terms of productivity decreased by about 0.41 kw / ha (0.83 percent).

The decline in production occurred due to a decrease in harvested area of ​​1,079 hectares (53.39 percent) and also a decrease in productivity 3.40 quintals / hectare (21.33 percent).
