Abstract

Inflation in Mamuju in September 2014 was due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the price index in 5 expenditure groups, namely: the foodstuffs group 0.68 percent, the processed food group, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 1.81 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.52 percent; health group 0.31 percent; and education, recreation and sports 2.11 percent. Meanwhile, the transportation, communication and financial services group and clothing group experienced a decrease in the index, each by -0.04 percent and -0.05 percent.
