Abstract

The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's 2013 rice production was 445,030 tons of Dry Grain (GKG), an increase of 32,692 tons (7.93 percent) compared to rice production in 2012, which was 412,338 tons. The increase in rice production in 2013 was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​7,399 hectares (8.83 percent), and in terms of productivity decreased by about 0.41 kw / ha (0.83 percent).
The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's corn production in 2013 was 128,327 tons of dry seed, an increase of 5,773 tons (4.71 percent) compared to 2012 production of 122,554 tons. Increased corn production was triggered by an increase in harvested area of ​​1,640 ha (6.52 percent) from 25,141 ha in 2012 to 26,781 ha in 2013. While in terms of productivity it fell by 0.83 quintals / hectare (1.70 percent), i.e. from 48.75 quintals / hectare in 2012 to 47.92 quintals / hectare in 2013.
The ROOF of soybean production in West Sulawesi Province in 2013 was 1,181 tons of dry beans, decreased by 2,041 tons (63.35 percent) compared to 2012 production. The decline in production occurred due to a decrease in harvested area of ​​1,079 hectares (53.39 percent) and also a decrease in productivity 3.40 quintals / hectare (21.33 percent).
