Abstract

The percentage of poor people decreased by 0.07 percentage point from 12.30 percent in March 2013 to 12.23 percent in September 2013.

The poor population of West Sulawesi in September 2013 reached 154.2 thousand people or increased by 190 people compared to the poor population in March 2013, which amounted to 154.01 thousand people.

During one semester (March - September 2013), the number and percentage of poor people in urban areas decreased by 2.5 thousand people (0.61 percent). However, in rural areas it increased by 2.7 thousand people (0.04 percent).
