Abstract

The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's 2011 rice production was 365,683 tons of Dry Grain (GKG), an increase of 2,783 tons (0.77 percent) compared to rice production in 2010, which was 362,900 tons. The increase in rice production in 2011 was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​424 hectares (0.56 percent), and in terms of productivity increased by about 0.10 kw / ha (0.21 percent).

The Fixed Rate (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province corn production in 2011 was 82,995 tons of dry shelled, an increase of 24,975 tons (43.05 percent) compared to 2010's production of 58,020 tons. The increase in corn production was triggered by an increase in harvested area of ​​4,064 ha (30.54 percent) from 13,308 ha in 2010 to 17,372 ha in 2011. While in terms of productivity it increased by 4.18 quintals / hectare (9.59 percent), i.e. from 43.60 quintals / hectare in 2010 to 47.78 quintals / hectare in 2011.

The ROOF of soybean production in West Sulawesi Province in 2011 was 2,433 tons of dry beans, a decrease of 762 tons (23.85 percent) compared to production in 2010. The decline in production occurred due to a decrease in harvested area of ​​319 hectares (15.31 percent) and also a decrease in productivity of 1.55 quintals / hectare (10.10 percent).
