Abstract

Number of flights through Sulawesi Barat during the month of March 2012 reached 134 flights, which represented an increase of 15.52 percent when compared to the February 2012 that only 116 flights. Similarly, when compared with conditions in March the previous year was only 64 low, meaning an increase of 109.38 percent

Number of air passengers departing and coming through Sulawesi Barat during the month of March 2012 amounted to 5,096 people. When compared with the situation in February 2012 that just 4,673 people, this means the period in March 2012 experienced an increase of around 9.05 percent. Similarly, when compared with conditions in March the previous year only 3,559 people, this means an increase of 43.19 percent

Total goods unloaded and loaded through Padang Tampa Airport Sulawesi Barat during the month of March 2012 was 23 301 kg which means an increase of about 1.54 percent when compared with the situation in February 2012, which was recorded only at 22 947 kg. Likewise, if compared with the previous year in March conditions were only 18 635 kg, this means an increase of 25.04 percent.

Total cruise through western Sulawesi during the period of March 2012 as many as 234 units, which represented an increase of about 36.05 percent when compared with the situation in February 2012 that only 172 units. Likewise, if compared with the previous year in March conditions were only 163 units had increased by 43.56 percent.

The number of passengers departing and ocean freight coming through Sulawesi Barat during the month of March 2012 approximately 4,324 people. When compared to the conditions in February 2012 that only 4,156 people, meaning an increase of about 4.04 percent. However, when compared with the condition in March the previous year which reached 4,653 people this means a decline of 7.07 percent
