The number of flights going through Sulawesi Barat during January 2012 reached 86 flights, which means an increase of 7.50 percent when compared to the conditions in December 2011 which were only 80 flights. Likewise if compared with the conditions in January of the previous year which were only 60 flights , means an increase of 43.33 percent
The number of air transport passengers departing and coming through Sulawesi Barat during January 2012 was 3,084 people. When compared to the situation in December 2012 which reached 4,242 people, it means that in the period of January 2012 it experienced a decline of around 27.30 percent. However, when compared to the conditions in January of the previous year which were only 3,057 people, this meant an increase of 0.88 percent
The number of goods unloaded and loaded through the Tampa Padang Mamuju Airport in Sulawesi Barat during January 2012 was 18,924 kg, which means a decrease of around 28.14 percent when compared to the situation in December 2011 which was recorded at 26,334 kg. However, if compared with the condition in January of the previous year which was only 16,302 kg, this meant an increase of 16.08 percent.
The number of shipping through West Sulawesi during the period of January 2012 was 187 units, which means an increase of about 3.31 percent when compared to the situation in December 2011 of 181 units. Likewise, if compared with the condition in January of the previous year, which was only 123 units, it means an increase of 52.03 percent.
The number of sea transport passengers departing and coming through West Sulawesi during January 2012 was around 5,209 people. When compared to the conditions in December 2011 of 5,275 people, it means a decrease of around 1.25 percent. However, if compared with the conditions in January of the previous year which were only 4,985 people this meant an increase of 4.49 percent
