Overview of Transportation in West Sulawesi in December 2011

Abstract

The number of flights going through West Sulawesi during December 2011 reached 80 flights, which means an increase of 29.03 percent when compared to the conditions in November 2011 which only 62 flights.

The number of air transport passengers departing and coming through West Sulawesi during December 2011 was 4,242 people. When compared to the situation in November 2011 which reached 6,704 people, it means that in the period of December 2011 experienced a significant decrease of around 36.72 percent.

The number of goods unloaded and loaded through the Tampa Padang Mamuju Airport in West Sulawesi during December 2011 reached 26,334 kg, which means a significant increase of around 38.21 percent when compared to the situation in November 2011 which was recorded at 19,054 kg.

The number of shipping through West Sulawesi during the December 2011 period was 181 units, which means a decrease of around 22.65 percent when compared to the situation in November 2011 of 234 units.

The number of sea transport passengers departing and coming through West Sulawesi during December 2011 was around 5,275 people. When compared to the conditions in November 2011 which reached around 6,672 people, it means a decrease of around 20.94 percent.
