Abstract

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) is an indicator of the latest economic development produced by the Central Statistics Agency through the Consumer Tendency Survey (STK). ITK is an index that illustrates the economic condition of consumers in the current quarter and forecasts in the coming quarter. ITK value of 0 to 200, ITK above 100 illustrates the economic condition of consumers better than the previous period. Conversely, if ITK below 100 illustrates the economic condition of consumers worse than the previous period. If ITK is equal to 100, it means that the economic condition of consumers is the same as the previous period.
