Abstract

The fixed figure (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's rice production in 2010 was 362,900 tons of Dry Grain (GKG), an increase of 52,194 tons (16.80 percent) compared to 2009's rice production, which was 310,706 tons. The increase in rice production in 2010 was due to an increase in harvested area of ​​10,950 hectares (16.85 percent), but in terms of productivity it declined by around 0.02 kw / ha (0.04 percent).

The Fixed Figures (ATAP) of West Sulawesi Province's corn production in 2010 was 58,020 tons of dry shelled, down by 300 tons (0.51 percent) compared to 2009's production of 58,320 tons. The decrease in corn production was triggered by a decrease in productivity of 6.27 quintals / hectare (12.57 percent), from 49.87 quintals / hectare in 2009 to 43.60 quintals / hectare in 2010.

The ROOF of soybean production in West Sulawesi Province in 2010 was 3,195 tons of dry beans, an increase of 42 tons (1.34 percent) compared to production in 2009. The increase in production occurred due to an increase in harvested area of ​​7 hectares (0.34 percent) and also an increase in productivity of 0.15 quintal / hectare (1.01 percent).
