Abstract
DEVELOPMENT OF CONSUMER PRICE / INFLATION INDEX NOVEMBER 2010 MAMUJU INFLATION 0.91 PERCENT Based on the Consumer Price Survey of 66 cities in Indonesia in November 2010, there were61 cities experiencing inflation and 5 other cities experiencing deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Lhokseumawe2.64 percent with CPI 124.73 and the lowest was in Probolinggo 0.06 percent with CPI 127.33, while the highest deflation occurred in Maumere 0.29 percent with CPI 135.23 and the lowest in Balikpapan 0.04 percent with CPI 126.39. Meanwhile, with inflation of 0.91 percent and CPI 127.29 Mamujumen ranked 21st among cities experiencing inflation. The inflation rate in Mamuju City in 2010 (December 2009 - November 2010) was 4.88 percent, while the year on year inflation rate (November 2009-November 2010) was 5.76 percent. Meanwhile, Indonesia in November 2010 experienced an inflation of 0.60 percent, with CPI 124.03. Indonesia's inflation rate in 2010 (December 2009 - November 2010) was 5.98 percent, while the inflation rate "year on year" (November 2009 - November 2010) was 6.33 percent. Inflation in Mamuju in November 2010 was generally caused by an increase in the consumer price index in the following five categories of goods and services: foodstuffs 2.05 percent; processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco 0.26 percent; clothing groups 0.64 percent; health group 1.11 percent; and education, recreation and sports 0.23 percent. Meanwhile, the housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group fell 0.03 percent, while the transportation, communication and financial services group did not experience changes in the price index. Significant increase in the foodstuffs group by the share of inflation in the spices sub-group, the fruit and meat sub-group and the results respectively by 0.20 percent, 0.15 percent and 0.12 percent. While the increase that was also significant in the education, recreation and sports group was caused by the magnitude of inflation in the recreation sub-group by 0.23 percent. Commodities contributing to inflation are: red chili 0.20 percent, banana 0.12 percent, fresh tuna cakalang 0.07 percent, live chicken and shallots 0.06 percent respectively, purebred chicken, broiler eggs and fresh cobs of fish each 0.05 percent, cayenne pepper 0.04 percent, spinach, coconut, fruit tomatoes and bottled water respectively 0.03 percent, potatoes and cooking oil 0.02 percent each, beef, young jackfruit, carrots, cabbage / cabbage, tamarind, biscuits and syrup 0.01 percent each, TV channel network costs 0.23 percent, jewelry gold 0.03 percent, shampoo 0.02 percent and toothpaste and leather sandals men each 0.01 percent.
