Statistics of Sulawesi Barat Province has released some of the current strategic indicators, related to the consumer price index / inflation in March 2021, Farmers Term of Trade in March 2021, overview of tourism and transport in February 2021, and Foreign Trade in February 2021. It was delivered by the Head of Statistics of Sulawesi Barat Province, Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan, in a live streaming on Thursday 1 April 2021.
Here's a summary of the data submitted:
I. March 2021, 0.36 percent inflation Mamuju
• In March 2021, Mamuju experienced inflation of 0.36 percent. Inflation is due to price increases shown by the increase in several indices group namely the expenditure of food, beverages and tobacco 0.98 percent; housing, water, electricity, and fuel 0.09 percent of households; health group 1.96 percent; and group personal care and other services 0.18 percent. Meanwhile, expenditure group that deflation is a group fixtures, equipment and routine household maintenance 0.33 percent; transport group 0.58 percent; and group information, communication and financial services 0.24 percent.
• The level of the index change of the calendar year in March 2021 in Mamuju recorded inflation of 2.93 percent and the rate of change in the index year-on-year (March 2021 to March 2020) showed a 3.31 percent inflation.
• Based on the Consumer Price Survey of 90 cities in Indonesia in March 2021, showed that 58 cities experienced inflation and 32 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Jayapura of 1.07 percent and the lowest in Tangerang and Banjarmasin respectively by 0.01 percent. While the highest deflation occurred in Bau-Bau by 0.99 percent and the lowest at 0.01 percent Palopo.
II. March 2021, Farmer Sulawesi Barat at 117.03. Up 0.30% compared to February 2021
• From January 2020 to amend the base year in calculating the Index Received by Farmers (It) and the Prices Paid Index Farmers (Ib) of the base year 2012 = 100 to the base year 2018 = 100. Both types of the index is a component in the calculation of Farmer (NTP). Changes in the base year is done to adapt to the changing patterns of production, costs of production, and consumption of agricultural households in rural areas. In the base year 2018 = 100 increased coverage of commodities either on the package or Ib commodity It compared with base year 2012 = 100.
• NTP is a comparison against lb. It used to demonstrate the power exchange (terms of trade) of agricultural products with the goods and services consumed as well as to the cost of production. The higher the NTP, in relative terms the stronger levels of ability / farmers' purchasing power.
• NTP Sulawesi Barat in March 2021 at 117.03, up 0.30 percent compared to February 2021. The increase NTP NTP caused It rose by 1.03 percent and 0.72 percent rise Ib.
• NTP by subsector recorded for food crops subsector (NTP-P) 101.92 Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) 109.03; Smallholder Crop Subsector (NTP-R) 132.27; Livestock Subsector (NTP-T) 96.49; and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 104.14.
• For a national scale, NTP Month March 2021 amounted to 103.29 rose by 0.18 percent compared to February, and changes in household consumption index by 0.11 percent.
III. February 2021, TPK Star Hotel Classification 19.94 Percent and Number of Flights Depart Down 53.98% Number of Flights Coming Down 54.67%
• Room occupancy rate (TPK) star classification hotels in Sulawesi Barat period amounted to 19.94 percent in February 2021. TPK has increased by 2.71 points if compared with the period January 2021 it stood at 17.23 per cent.
• Average length of stay archipelago period of February 2021 at Hotel Stars Classification of 1.02 days recorded a decrease of 0.06 days compared to the period January 2021 it stood at 1.08 days. As for the foreign guests, no foreign guests who come to visit the Sulawesi Barat. So that the average length of stay was the same as the previous month 0 days.
• Average number of guests per room at the hotel star classification in the period of February 2021 stood at 1.94 people, or an increase of 0.07 when compared to the period January 2021 was recorded at 1.87 people.
• The number of departing flights during the period from February 2021, there were 133 aircraft. This number has decreased compared to the situation in January 2021 which recorded as many as 289 aircraft. While the number of flights which came during the period of February 2021, there were 131 units where the number is registered aircraft decreased by 54.67 percent dibandig month of January 2021 stood at 289 aircraft
• The number of ship visits through the port in Sulawesi Barat during the period from February 2021 as many as 164 vessels. This amount decreased by 7.34 percent compared to the situation in January 2021 which recorded as many as 177 vessels.
IV. During February 2021 the export value of Sulawesi Barat reached US $ 31.54 million, down 24.66 percent compared to February 2020. The value of import value rose US $ 0.39 million compared to the previous month
• The export value of Sulawesi Barat in February 2021 reached US $ 31.54 million, down 24.66 percent compared to February 2020 and down 49.62 percent compared to January 2021.
• Fats and oils of animal / vegetable and various chemical products are the major export commodities of Sulawesi Barat province during February 2021.
• Pakistan, China, and Korea became the main export destinations of Sulawesi Barat during February 2021.
• Cumulatively, Sulawesi Barat export value rose by 1.86 per cent, from US $ 92.52 million (January-February 2020) to US $ 94.24 million (January to February 2021).
• The value of imports of Sulawesi Barat during February 2021 reached US $ 0,39juta, up US $ 0.39 million compared to January 2021 and fixed than in February 2020.
• On a cumulative basis, the value of imports remained at US $ 0.39 million (January to February 2021) compared with the previous year.
